About our Company

Our primary industry is Restaurant Exhaust Hood Cleaning / Commercial Kitchen Cleaning / Pressure Washing.

Boyz In The Hood has been in business since 2015 and we started working in the industry in 2005.

Our vision is to provide an exceptional cleaning service at a fair and affordable rate. Customer service is our top priority. We are not happy if you are not happy. Our company started after I got out of the Navy and moved back to Portland. My brother Noah was working at a local restaurant in Hillsboro, and his boss wanted him to clean the hoods in the kitchen. This got the ball rolling, and within 6 months we were up and running. I love this business because I love working in the restaurant business, and love interacting with our clients. Being able to visit all the great restaurants in the area is something I really enjoy. Our biggest competition in the area is Oregon Hood Cleaning, American Hood Cleaning, Hoodz, Metropolitan Steamers.
No marketing. Strictly word of mouth, and handing out business cards. Our customer is better off buying from us because We are not a big box company serving thousands of accounts a year. When you call Boyz in the hood, you will be talking to the owner and when someone come out to give you your free estimate, that someone will be the owner. We personally follow up on every single job to ensure all our customers needs have been met. We call you for all scheduling so you have one less thing to worry about. Top three products are Restaurant Exhaust Hood Cleaning, Restaurant Equipment Cleaning, Pressure washing.
Owner operated, great value, exceptional customer service. Our typical client is not so typical. They all either own or manage a restaurant but they are all very different.

Restaurants are required to have their exhaust systems cleaned and inspected on a recurring basis. The frequency varies depending on the type of food being cooked, the volume of food being cooked, and also what type of fuel you use to cook your food. When the health inspector goes through your restaurant they will look to make sure your hood has a up to date cleaning sticker. Dirty Exhaust systems are the leading cause of restaurant fires. When grease is ignited it can very rapidly spread into the attic, causing thousands of dollars in damages or even possible loss of life.

Our ideal client is someone who would like us to clean their exhaust system on a consistent, recurring, basis.

Our achievements: My brother and I are both veterans, and we are both certified by the Portland Fire bureau, to clean exhaust systems.

December seems to be a little slow due to the holidays. but that’s about it.
